Default Broken stud on mid pipe section

During the installation of my exhaust today, I broke the stud that connects to the midpipe. I didn't take a picture but was able to find an image on google for a reference.

Does anyone have a solution to this unfortunate experience? How do I remove the broken stud and fix it so that I can attach the hanger? The midpipe is currently resting on the crossmember - will this cause any short term/ long term issues?

I consider myself a beginner when it comes to working on cars, any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If I remember correctly that stud is welded to the car. You can have a shop cut the broken stud off and weld a new one in place or just Weld the bracket on.
