Tomei Exhaust
After hours of listening to different exhaust systems online, I have found that I like the Tomei Expreme Ti system. My only concern is that it is a single muffler. Has anyone had any experience with this system? Another question is would I be able to get the same sound if I ran true dual exhaust with the Tomei?
Any input would be much appreciated. Doug |

I used to run the Tomei Z33 on my car. It has it's own unique sound with the titanium construction. You won't be able to replicate it with another exhaust system.
If you're concerned about power gains, It wont provide as much as a dual exhaust system, but it still makes decent power. The main draw for using a single exit is for significant weight savings. |

The difference between the tomei's power output and the weight savings from a dual system is negligible, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Whatever you decide, I'd recommend not going true dual. A X/H/Y crossover will balance the exhaust pulses and give the idle a smoother, deeper rumble - with true dual the car sounds like its fluttering at idle.

Go Dual. Very very similar sound and looks better.

I got the Tomei supreme ti exhaust for my 16 370z nismo, not a cat back as it didn't come with the y pipe so I wasn't able to bolt up the exhaust as the stock exhaust is a true dual with an h pipe, would getting the Tomei y pipe fix my issue? Pictures are of the stock exhaust, and the last one is of the Tomei cat back, including the y pipe obviously. Just wanna make sure before I spend some more $$

Any Y pipe will work. Megan Racing, Motordyne, AAM, Tomei, Tanabe - the choice is yours. PM a vendor in the Exhaust section of the Sponsor Classifieds for the best deal.
