I'd save your $$$ and go for ART pipes instead. Much deeper sounding and half the price and LTH haven't proven more gains than ART pipes

Top end power won't vary to much, you will make more mid range and start to make power earlier in the rev band with the long tubes.

I mean is getting the long tube headers a bad thing or a preference thing?

Pain in the *** to install yourself. Labor will run you some pocket change. All depends what you want out your car, i plan on road racing mine, so i want all the low end torque and mid range as possible. If your the type who just wants it to sound better or just buys parts so that your car stands out more then i don't think LTHs are for you. That's just my two cents.

Okay but for $700 more were talking like a measly few whp in some rpm ranges? Again, if I were you I'd go ART pipes because the labor costs to install headers will also add another couple hundred minimum.

And those few measly hp in the mid range is what pulls away from you everytime. If you don't plan on using the lths to their fl benefits then yes stick with the Ark pipes.
