I am trying to do the reset but not working. I used the clock on my computer so was sure it was enough seconds. for step 6 (and 7a, b) do I do the 5 pedal stomps while the car is ON or OFF? I couldn't get a blinking CEL but I had a solid one show (but I think it shows anyway if it is ON)

I made sure it was at least x seconds but if it was x+1 would it throw it off? seems hard to get exactly
