Exhaust- Headers- and HFC pair up
alright guys just want a little insight on which may be better in result of whp gains, yet also provides more sound than just the exhaust. I do live in CA so I do have to have the car "pass smog" every 2 years unless I keep taking it to my dad's friend haha, also no straight or test pipes cause I've already had a cop use a mirror under my car for being "loud"
I just installed my Fast Intentions cat back exhaust system with 18"resonators. should I do one of the two ideas I have? or if you want give your own experience of what you have installed Idea 1. -Stillen/DC Sports/Meagan Racing Steel Headers -ARK HFC -FI 18" res Exhaust system Idea 2. -FI Long Tube Headers -FI 18" res Exhaust system Like I said if you guys got a better idea for gains and sound let me know

Go with the long tube headers, since you're also here in Cali HFC are still and "illegal" mod and will cause you to fail smog regardless. So you might as well just go all out

So CA is screwed on exhaust lol.. so LTH sounds like more of a concensus. Anyone know what the whp gains look like on the Z?

you gotta call and ask tony for that lol
mine is actually rocking the CF mufflers currently. had to get state inspection so for visual purposes the mufflers went back on lol FP option will be back on as soon as my lazy self decides to take the 30 min to jack it up and swap out the muffler section.

surprisingly the neighbors don't care but I have had complaints from people on my daily route to work. the crazy part is with that exhaust I've been heard from about 3-4 miles away maybe even more lol
