My question is, do you guys recommend that I reset my ecu? Car is running fine but didn't really know if the ecu was freaking out due to more air flow.

Is that would be your last mod for your Z?

Normally the ECu would re-learn and adjust itself. I have intakes and full exhaust upgrades I should be running lean by now been driving the car for 30k miles and no tune yet car still runs great.

Having your car tuned will bring the best efficiency for your mods.

My suggestion do all your mods intakes, exhaust then have your car tuned by up rev or ecuteck.

As per Zoren_370, the ECM will adjust to minor changes. Resetting the ECM at this point will possibly prolong the re-learning time.

The rule-of-thumb seems to be: if you make intake OR exhaust changes, you don't need a tune; if you make intake AND exhaust changes, you need a tune. YMMV

Thanks guys, yeah I'm getting uprev tune from Jtran. All I have for the moment is axle back and cai, ordering resonated test pipes, y pipe and making a custom mid pipe. I also want to get an underdrive pulley but not too sure on which one to go with. I've heard of some breaking clean off from what I have read. I'm also going with 408 gears and light weight clutch and flywheel, but no need for a tune with those. Any suggestions on what other bolt ons I should do?
