Default Stillen exhaust tip question

Just received my Stillen exhaust today. Noticed some sort of minor blemish to one of the tips. Maybe a welding flash chunk. Was wondering if this would be easy to file off smooth with the rest of the surface and polish it out? It is minor but right where it is visible, lol.

Looked at some stainless polishing videos. Seems like a file should be used on the blemish first, then course grit through fine grit sandpaper. Some people show using more than one polishing compound and multiple buffing wheels. Hoping that a small area like this wouldn't be too bad to get out.

i had similar marks on mine, but they were inside the tips more. If it cant be polished with steel wool and polish then I would send it back rather than making it worse with a file.

Anyone know a trick for centering the Stillen exhaust tips for the rear fascia piece?

I used ratchet straps to hold it in place then bent the hangers alittle. But I loosend the pre-muffler flanges then when it looked close enough I torqued the clamps down pretty good. If I was full on OCD then I would break out a welder, but that is too much work for a 1/8in difference.
