Default Z1 Post MAF Tubes / K&N Drop in review 370z & G37x

Hi Guys, I installed these last week and i absolutely love them.

The install was very straight forward, Had to remove the Strut brace and engine cover, i didnt need any lube or anything, i was able to force the tubes on by hand and re-used the clamps from the stock tubing.

Initially i only got the Tubes from Z1 and stole the K&N filters out of my G37. Put everything together on the Z for a complete combo.

Then when i drove the G37x on standard paper filters it felt sluggish, it was probably due to the fact i had been driving the Z all week before that. Well i ordered some black tubes for the G37x along with the K&N Combo, Big thanks to Z1 for their fast shippment. Put everything on the infiniti and the butt dyno seemed to say that there was a difference.

Here are some pics of the install

Sounds awesome, but the photos aren't showing. Try uploading them again.

Nice job I'm sure. Post MAF's & K&N's are a good bang for the buck mod.

This was the first mod I did on my 370z, and to be honest I didn't really notice much of anything, just a small increase in noise at WOT only.

I'm planning to sell mine at some point, for intakes.

Totally agree, best mod bang for the buck. Plus Z1 is first rate.

I wouldnt go with knN persoanlly....a dry filter like AFE or cosworth would be ideal. AEM doesnt make one, I believe blitz does and HKS is garbage in this regard
