ARK GRiP exhaust best combo
Hi everyone!
I was fortunate enough to finally invest in a Ark Grip exhaust for my 2010 370z Nismo. I did my research and read more than I have about anything before purchasing this exhaust. During the summer I do drive the Z like a daily but here in Chicago, I can't afford to drive her in the winter. For someone like me who wants to enjoy his music while driving and not experience insane amount of drone or cabin noise, what kind of set up would you all recommend? My friends convinced me to go with resonated ART pipes. So right now I have the exhaust and art pipes. I haven't installed anything yet, due to the cold weather and my work schedule not permitting. I was torn between either buying ARK HFC or ART pipes. I'm hoping I didn't make the wrong decision. I wanted to hear feedback from those of you running similar setups or any recommendations you all can offer me. Thanks everyone! |

I have the ARK Grip and ARK Hfc very deep solid sound. Not loud inside the cabin. The test pipe would be louder making conversation hard with your passenger.

I run stock cats with my ARK and am plenty happy with the sound. That said, ART is probably the most tame test pipe for our cars. Given the hemhotlz resonator design, the ART pipes will probably keep drone down more than a normal test pipe. The ARK hfc also has this so it'll probaby be even more tame

I wasn't sure if I'd be satisfied with the ARK exhaust as is based off the videos I was watching. That's the only reason I thought about investing in the Art pipes. I'm hoping its bearable.

This is where I'm at, I have ART pipes already with AAM resonated short tails, sounds amazing but with big cabin drone. I want a cleaner sound but don't get me wrong I love my setup, but with longer drives it could get ancy. I would love more feedback on this subject. Did you get ART pipes and the GRIP yet? I am about to probably get GRIP with my ART pipes.
