I know the epa ratings aren't always true for Hawaii. I'm looking to get a Z, and I'm just wondering what to expect; I live and work in town...just curious. |

I don't know how gas mileage is affected in HI (due to elevation?), however, I'm not broken in yet and pushing 23mi/g. I heard gas mileage goes up after the engine is properly broken in.
About 80% of my driving so far has been on highway. |

It really depends if you are doing city or hwy.
If you read the window sticker the bolder parts are 18/26 but in fine print it says people average 14-18 or 21-26 |

I maybe be at 12-16. But that's prolly because of the Supercharger -_-

Low 19s (19.2 seems to pop up frequently) going by the car display. Mostly in-town with some highway.

computer tells me 23ish but its all highway. H2 down to H1 and vice versa. Never needing to go through Honolulu so never really dealing with traffic.

OP, please keep in mind, I'm in break in period and 90% of my driving is from Kaimuki to downtown area, it's 15.5 mpg, real tracking of gallons filled and miles driven. On my trip computer it is showing 15.3, very close. For a comparison 04 G35 Coupe (auto) was getting approx 16. |

Omg, I'm going to love this car!!
So from what I'm getting... I should expect 16-19mpg in mixed driving?.. I'm stoked! I get like 15mpg on avg with my m35 ><! I'm in the process of selling my car, and purchasing a Z. Hopefully all goes through smoothly. |
