Gauging interest to gather price quotes. Sales Pitch: Do you... Have forced induction, or are you signed up to have it soon? Plan on going to the drag strip more than once or twice? Plan to succeed at getting 1/4 mile times that reflect your vehicle's capability and power? Plan to use adequate tires required to achieve a good 60' time? Plan to build your engine for big power down the road? If you answered yes to 2 or more questions, you are a great candidate for breaking your original axles. The solution? Behold.... The Driveshaft Shop | NISSAN 2009- 370Z / G37 1200HP Pro-Level Axles - Nissan - Import Axles Ouch, they are expensive... MSRP at $2200. We all know how buying power and group buys work. If I can gauge what type of interest there would be in these axles, I can get some solid price quotes, possibly multi-tier if there is good interest. This could be a swing and miss... not sure what to expect here on this one. Anyone interested? 1: phunk

I'm curious how much of a break we could get in a group buy. It would have to be a hell of a deal. I'm in, but I reserve the right to run away once we see the final price.

Driveshaft shop makes great stuff. Unfortunately, they price it accordingly. Granted, it would be the only set of axles you would ever have to buy. Have people been snapping axles? I haven't seen any posts about it, but its eventually going to happen with big power and/or slicks.

Looking at the 1/4 mile registry, it doesnt appear anyone is out there yet really showing off what these cars can do. I dont know that it will be very common at all that someone with a high power 370z ends up at the drag strip with a setup that is going to allow them to launch hard and achieve goals. At least not until someone does it first and breaks the ice.
This platform really lacks in aftermarket support.. I dont know of anyone pushing this car to its limit yet. But once somebody goes out there with a run of the mill boosted 370z with a stock engine and runs a 10 second 1/4 mile, i think there is going to be a lot of other people willing to follow their steps.... and thats when we will see the broken axles! For me, its currently the only thing holding me back from going out and stealing the 1/4 mile record Anyone who is going to want to steal that back from me, or keep me from taking it, is going to end up needing the axles! Most of my car I look at with a "if it aint broke dont fix it" perspective. However, when I know that its highly unlikely I will make it down the drag strip more than a couple times on my stock axles with my current power and tire setup... I see that impending failure as an experience I can live without. These cars are so capable that its crazy that so few do anything with them! The big horsepower addition is the first step, and of course the most fun... but trust me it gets old having all this power and not being able to use it effectively.

I can't imagine Nissan using different axles. All of the surrounding parts are the same.

Yes I am almost positive that they are identical, but I dont want to give any false information.
I am waiting information to find out how much discount we can get based on higher quantities. I am really hoping that we can get at least $400+ discount. |

OK I got all the details.
Due to minimum advertised pricing policies and group buy polices from the manufacturer, this thread and group buy will be closed. If anyone is interested in purchasing these axles please PM me and I will give you updated details and prices. |

I was looking at these about a month ago and yes the pricing is insane. Still can't find a cheaper solution.
