Default service engine light 370z

I recently installed stillen headers and messed up the AFR sensor, I went to get my emissions tested and threw 3 codes(cylinder misfiring=intake leak, and then the AFR sensor=I replaced it) the car is running fine but the service engine light was still on. I went and got my emissions tested again and threw the same 3 codes, is this because the service engine light never turned off or no? Kinda confused.

Are you boosted?

You posted this in the FI section and the reasoning why those codes are coming up could be complete different if you are NA or FI.

And it passed so the problem was a damaged sensor from install?

Stupid question, but did you reset the ecu after you changed the sensor?

This is probably it.

Or ... some error codes are held until they are manually cleared. Many ODB scanners can clear codes.

Well here's what happened, I did not reset the ecu before going and that's why I threw the same code. I went to moes and got some food, unplugged my battery and let the car sit for about 1 hour. Came back and the service engine light was off , I went to get the emissions tested again paying 10 dollars (30 dollars for 3 times now) and they guy said" well the car hasn't been driven enough and it won't even let me do the test" he gave me a free one and I have to go in the morning for another test. I hate that damn place the light still hasn't come back. (Driven about 100 miles) so I'm sure that's plenty of driving for the ecu to run all the tests it needs. Thanks for the help guys!

I thought the ecu would reset its self but i was wrong just needed to manually do it. And I also figured out if you press your gas pedal a certain amount of times in a certain order it resets it too. Pretty cool haha

There's some on off of the ignition at specific timing to get it to work real pita. That's the beauty of uprev. Connect to the car and clear all codes

Can't wait to get my uprev! And yeah I tried doing the gas pedal trick first. I got the SEL so blink but couldn't get it to fully disappear. So I just unplugged the battery
