After 2 years from the day I had my GTM stage 2 TT kit installed I finally got a dyno done. At 3400ft here in Calgary at 9psi I got 485WHP and 370ft-lbs of torque. The tune is GTMs Canned tune for 93 octane fuel. Other than the standard turn key items I got an oil cool and 3" downpipes (ext waste gates) and 3" FI exhaust.
As you can see from the dyno print out my AFRs are REALLY low down to 10. Is it worth spending $1,000 on a custom dyno tune folks? All I'd really be getting is better fuel economy. Since I drive my car regularly I'm not too worried about plugging up the sensors in the exhaust. I am getting some backfire when I go full tilt so I'm thinking it may be worth it just for that. Maybe I could just send the GTM rom to Uprev and get the tune leaned out a bit. Suggestions? Thanks ![]() NOBLE |
