Default Fast Intention TT

Hi everyone!

My first post here and just had a quick question.

I just finished college and was one of the lucky ones to grab a worth while job out of school, got a 2013 370Z and am loving it. Been driving it for about 2 months now and am starting to look at mods.

Having gone all through these forums looking at mods I ended up with a list of must haves for performance. But after looking at the FI TT Kit, it seems that kit has pretty much everything rolled into one with the exception of an Exhaust and Long tubes (Which I am still debating on.....I live in CA and am not sure if its worth the hassle. If anyone has any tips for me to run Long Tubes here please don't hesitate to chime in :P)

My question is am I looking at this wrong, or is that TT Kit pretty much everything rolled into one? And if anyone has gotten this Kit, how are you liking it. (How long did it take, WHP difference, whats our 1/4, was it worth $11k?)

I also have some questions about Body Kits, but I will take that to the appropriate area.

Thanks so much for the input guys!

You gotta do some research. You can't run long tube headers with the TT kit. The kit comes with its own gorgeous manifolds.

It will also cost a lot more than 11k. You will also need an oil cooler, clutch/ flywheel kit, cost of installation, gauges, boost controller, dyno tuning and much more misc items.

Expect everything to cost around 16-20k depending what you get.

Add everything up you think you might need and multiply by 1.3

Luclin,

Congrats on the new Z!

Thank you for taking an interest in our products. Our TT Kit is virtually complete minus a few things. Below is a list of things it does not come with. Some are mandatory and some are recommended. I will put an asterisk by everything mandatory.

*Dyno Tune
*Colder Spark Plugs
-Electronic Boost Controller (TurboSmart E Boost II recommended)
-Fuel Pressure Gauge (In Car)
-Upgraded Clutch/Flywheel Combo (SpecialtyZ recommended)
-Oil Cooler (FI recommended)
-Down Pipes and Cat Back Exhaust System (FI recommended)
-Upgraded Rear Subframe and Differential bushings (White line Recommended)
-Sport Brakes if your car is not already equipped with them. All of that added performance has to be able to come to a stop.
-LSD "Limited Slip Differential". Even if your car has it you will eventually want to upgrade. OS Giken is what we recommend.

People, am I missing anything here?

Our kit is $9,995 USD + the parts on the list above. Hypothetically speaking, say you have a professional installer do the work. You are looking at $15,000+ all depending on how in depth you go. If your car is a base model and you want to add everything on this list plus other in car gauges, you are close to $20,000! It may seem like a lot of money but we all know the old saying, " Do it right the first time so you don't have to spend the money twice"!

To touch on your other question, you do not run Long Tube Headers in conjunction with a TT Kit. The LTH's are for Naturally Aspirated, Supercharged and Nitrous applications.

I am going to pm this to you as well just to make sure it reaches you. If you would like a detailed quote please feel free to pm, email or call me directly.

Thank you and Happy Holidays.

Tony

While the kit is no-holds-barred quality and performance driven, part of your investment is with who produces the kit. FI has been and continues to put the customer first and won't throw you to the side once your money is in their hands. If the sticker price is a little high for your taste, I urge you to call them and figure it out. It is worth it to add a month or two and increase your budget to make it work. I personally would pay the extra 1-2k to NOT go through what some of follow members are suffering curerntly.....

The numbers of the kit are in the first part of the post. Mind you, these are the prototype numbers, revisions and production standards will only make this kit better!

Stay tuned, production installs are hitting the dyno's soon and I am saddened to know that kleenex everywhere will be soaked in either tears or man-o-naise

first mods for this car should be tires, exhaust and a differential..then probably sway bars. exhaust because it sounds pretty lackluster stock and let's face it, it's hard to not go for power mods.
