3" Charge Pipes Contacting Tower Brace

GMT 3" charge pipes only. My SC Stage 1 did not contact the brace. If you have a TT or SC 1.5 you may want to check.

You could try readjusting some of the piping in several location on that side. But this is the small things that go with modding. Or if that doesn't work out a small sticky cushion on top of the piping to keep it from rubbing.

get a 3" silicone coupling...cut it vertically and slide it over the pipe. Should grip the pipe pretty good and not move...plus it will withstand the heat

Were the spacers for the brace installed?

NO spacers, and I am the only one that works on the car. If there are spacers mine never had them.

That's odd. My GTM kit had spacers to raise the brace about 3/16" or so to avoid that problem.

So the spacers should come with the kit? Listed in the instructions?

I had a 1.0 SC kit and no problems, after the 1.5 change to 3" pipes caused the trouble

It's been so long since I looked at the TT instructions I couldn't tell you. Im sure mine came with my kit. They're nothing special. You could snag some washers from Home Depot and be back on the road in fifteen minutes.
