Default Specialty Z flexfuel sensor

Good morning all hope I’m in the right place

So I have installed the cjm fuel return kit on my 2014 370z and installed a specialty Z flex fuel sensor on the feed line like the instructions show I also wired it up exactly as the diagram shows to on 102, connecting it to the power wire it shows and the ground as well.

The issue I’m running into is that I can’t seem to get it to read on the Ecutek app, it has a standalone Bluetooth app that comes with the kit and on it I can see the reading of the fuel temp and E content so I know the sensor is working but I can seem to get it showing on the ecutek app. I have all the wires hooked up exactly like the diagrams but for some reason idk why it’s not reading in the EcuTek app it’s stuck at 83.3 percent and until I can fix this I cannot get my tuner to finish up.

Any help is greatly appreciated ty!

Did you get a new tune file to add the flex fuel sensor as an input? If not, it will never show anything.

Yeah so my tuner has the option for the flex fuel sensor turned on but when I check to see what it says it’s stuck at 83.3 even after fill up and adding 93. On the Fuelit stand alone app it’s reading the content correctly but for some reason it isn’t reading on the EcuTek app

Get it resolved? It sounds like a wiring problem. Maybe you could remove the Fuel-It from between the sensor and the harness just to make sure there isnt a connection fault happening somewhere in there?

Thank you I will try that in the morning, today I triple checked if I had the correct pin and I’m on pin 102 like the diagram shows also the same pin as all the YouTube videos lol also hardwired the ground and power to the battery to see if that would help still no good in the app flex fuel content still stuck at 81.8 while the fuel it Bluetooth reads 77-78

Update so reached out to specialty Z and spoke to Edgar.
Turns out it was user error I had it connected to what I thought was pin 102 from looking and the diagrams and YouTube videos but it was wrong. After connecting it to the right pin everything works perfectly
Attached is the wrong pin (black) and the correct one (grey)

Hard to see it but tried my best on the pics
