370z A2A about the supercharger belt . RPM Belt Discontinued

Hello. I ordered '465-K080220RPM' which is used for a2a superchargers sold by JEGS last summer. However, I kept waiting, but I received an email saying that the belt was discontinued.

Same issue here. I got the email from JEGS on Wednesday and only have one left. Did you find a replacement?

That's pretty shitty if it's completely unavailable now, helped tremendously in eliminating belt slip for me. Time to convert to a cog setup I guess lol.

Does it have to be the RPM line of belts? You can fine the k080220 belt pretty easily still.

Yeah the RPM belts are the way. The main magic behind them is they're significantly less prone to belt stretch, which when you are using a manual tensioner like we do it's a huge difference. You can make good power on a standard belt, problem is a week or two later you'll end up down on power because it stretched and is now slipping, which constant retensioning is a pretty big inconvenience. My experience with the RPM belts over the last couple years is they will stretch once in the first hundred or so "break-in" miles, then it'll be fine for the remainder of the belts life. Guess it's time to look for other solutions if I can no longer get my hands on an RPM belt.

Yes, I found a replacement. I ordered the Magnusson k080220 belt. I can't get the rpm belt anymore. It seems to be completely discontinued.

I think it's a basic belt. I have no choice but to buy several and move up the replacement time.
