Default Repair AAM R Line cooler or switch to Z1/FI 34 row

My AAM R Line liquid style oil cooler is leaking badly and in need of repairing according to my mechanic. He said he can order in the hoses needed to fix this type of cooler. He hasn't quoted me on the costs to repair yet

But wondering if it would be more worth while to switch to a 34 row Setrab by either Z1 or FI?

Can people who have Twin Turbo and 34 Row setrab cooler please state your oil temps on 100°F weather?

And where did you mount your 34 row cooler? I was told I need to place it where oem washer bottle is located and relocate washer bottle with aftermarket smaller one, because if I place cooler between radiator and IC, I will have temp issues.

Get a 34 row Setrab and be done with it.

With the Fast Intentions tt kit, the oil cooler can't be mounted in front of the passenger wheel. It has to go between the IC and radiator. My car hasn't seen 100 degree days yet but has been driven hard on hot days and my temps might get to 210

When your temps get to 200-210, do you feel like any performance loss due to the heat? Like the car is throttling or something? Or does it stay at maximum engine performance even at those temps?

Those temps are fine. Only when I get over 250 do I worry. Never had that happen with my FI TT kit on the car. I don't have to wring every bit or RPM out of it like before when I was NA.

If you’re not tracking your car you have nothing to worry about.
