My fuel system is it enough?

I've been trying to chase down some problems with my TT setup. I seem to lose power very rarely at low engine loads and often at high sustained loads (track).

Default My fuel system is it enough?

I've been trying to chase down some problems with my TT setup. I seem to lose power very rarely at low engine loads and often at high sustained loads (track). I have noticed though I'm unsure its related the AFR on bank two is a bit 1.5-3 points lower on bank one when it happens, normal numbers are 12-20ish for bank one.

What should be the minimum fuel pump size for my setup. 1050x ID Fuel injectors, stock fuel system with the standard CJM Road Race pump setup. 93Gas with up to 10% ethanol content.

What size fuel pump are you running and did you upgrade to a return system?

Stock. I believe the Road Race setup has a 255lph walbro, the stock pump feeds the Road Race pump.

How much whp are you pushing and are confident that all your injectors are good?

493whp, they are new. I'm still trying to get more data, but my ECUtek Dongle's usb connector broke which was my normal way of connecting, in the process of fixing it.

Injectors can go bad as I had one that went out and was giving me all kinds of crazy AFRs. Also it could be a bad pump or debris in the tank or filter of the fuel pump.

490whp on stock pump sounds a bit ambitious. Did you upgrade pump wiring?

Not really, upgraded/larger wires to support the CJM addition but that's about it.

You need to get a fuel pressure gauge on it that you can read from in the car or on a dyno.
If fuel pressure drops off when the issue arises you'll know your looking in the right place.
If not, you can start to look elsewhere (injectors etc.)
If the stock pump is only feeding the walbro it should be fine in regard to current draw & fuel flow. Thats not to say its not the problem though, as it may be past its "use by".

I would start with a rewire of the pump with with a bigger wire and a relay.

Making that much power on stock wiring is asking a lot. Fuel injectors are more

than enough and I highly doubt they're bad since you're not full E85. ID's are

imo the best in the business.

The power wiring to the pumps has been upgraded/replaced.

What's the rating of the OEM pump? I am surprised you got nearly 500whp out of it, so it must flow more than I realized.

I am running a Walbro 255 and make 520whp.
