Evap Line, Check valve?
Hi Guys, just a quick question.
I've been looking at the evap line off the back of the inlet plenum & wondering if a check valve is needed post evap canister purge volume control solenoid valve. From my reckoning the solenoid valve in the line opens & closes as requested by the ecu to release vacuum built up in the Evap Canister. No idea when exactly that happens & figured it probably wouldn't be real happy if it purged while under boost. Not something i've ever heard anyone mention so its probably a non issue. Just thought i'd ask. Cheers.

Ok Guys problem solved.
I've just gone over the line that goes back to the Evap Canister & found a small internal check valve in the line about 6 inches down Similar to what is in the Brake Booster Line. So no Prob. Cheers.
