I've been going to RT tuning for a the past two years since my local shop closed. Only go for tuning so i can't comment on built motors, but its a nice, clean, and established shop. One of the best shop in the new England area for the Nissan platform IMO.

Spooler had his car tuned their. MA Motorsports had them run his 800whp twin turbo because their tuner was not able to get the tune right. I would say that is pretty high praise. They have been around for a long time and built many 370Zs. I would have no problem using them if I live back east.

They tuned my car, that's it. My motor was built by MA-Motorsports. I have no idea on how their motors fair. I would suggest asking for references for their 370z builds. A motor is something I wouldn't let just anybody build.

So I read in the boosted performance thread. You hydro locked your motor because you sucked water up into it via the intake. Good luck getting it fixed.

Insurance is covering the motor ....but that will be for a stock motor again ...and I have only talked to SOHO and RT Tuning about building one

That must have been a good amount of water you went through.

It was a bad situation ...the way the roads came together everything was flowing to the same intersection from several side roads ...I tried to cut up one of the side roads to higher ground and it was too late ...when it stopped it was sudden no stuttering or stalling ... from 3k rpm to dead with a clunk sound ...tried to restart wouldn’t even turn over once

I guessing you bent the rods. Common in a hydrolocked motor.

My Z was tuned by Vince at RT. They have done lots of builds. Never heard of any bad about them.

That happens in Savannah, Ga a good amount. My old 300zxtt that I sold back in 2000 had it happen to it. He bent the rods and insurance totaled the car. This was only 5 months after I sold it. I never knew what happened until 2010. Boy was I not happy. I would have got the car back and fixed it. My wife felt terrible because I sold the car. That is one of the reasons I was left alone to build my 370ztt without much grief.

I've used RT Tuning for 2 small jobs and 2 tunes (2 separate cars). They've always done good work for me.
