Not boosted, but this might help.
On my NA “stock” motor I saw knock with 92 and 94 octane. I thought it was phantom knock signal. So, just to verify, I swapped the tune to E85 logged some pulls. I had the exact same knock signals at the top of 3rd and middle of fourth at WOT just like the logs on gas. This convinced me that it was mechanical noise, and so we reduced the sensor sensitivity for all maps. I kept the knock detection active, and have not seen any knock correction since. Seems like knock detection will go off at 5 degrees of retard or more with Ecutek. |

This is interesting. I'm seeing "ignition correction" in the exact same spots on the log - it seems primarily right around the 4,500rpm to 6,000rpm mark for 3rd gear pulls.
We are going to try the same tune with 101 octane and see if it changes. If it doesn't we're going to assume it's mechanical noise. We're seeing -1* to -2* of correction, but we're moreso trying to be safe than anything. |

Ran into the same issue and we had to turn off multiple misfire detection, as we increased timing it would do just as you said, once we turned that off everything was fine. We left single cylinder misfire detection on.

A better way to verify is to turn down the timing where the car is having corrections and check to see if it helps. An even better way is to analyze the knock data per cylinder to see which/what if breaking the knock threshold.
