Ignition Timing
This is going to be all over the place but should be able to get a sense of typical vs high etc. Been doing a bunch of short logs to slowly get this thing dialled in.
Most recently richened up the mixture so I wouldn't lean out too much right now at the top end while addressing some heat and other issues. I did a quick shakedown last night and noticed afterwards my ignition timing was 110*. I didn't even know that was possible... is something up? Curious what others are seeing as I don't really have much of a baseline beyong recalling seeing numbers in the 40's and 50's before that I didn't terribly pay too much at attention to as the focus was elsewhere. (Edit: I should add the AFR of 20 are because speed density hybrid tuning.) Last edited by ChaseZ; 03-25-2017 at 12:07 PM. |

110 is definitely way off, but so is 0 RPM. I would guess that your software just says 110 when your engine is off, therefore showing your maximum peak hold stuck at 110.
Have you actually seen 110 displayed as the current figure when the engine is running? Is so, that might be a curiosity, but what it indicates when the engine is off doesnt tell you anything.

Haha yep went through the log and looks like it went to 110 the second I must have shut it off. The connection to ecu was still running I guess cause it said 110 all across the screen so I figured it had to be that before I spturned it off.

the degree's may be reading fahrenheit; switch it to Celsius & it should drop to around 43*
