Catch can set up FI
Alright so I just ordered a couple catch cans today. I drew up my pcv setup plans. Does this look right? Comments or info on other peoples set ups is greatly appreciated.

I'm not mechanically inclined, but I was under the impression the catch can should be in between the engine and the intake in order to catch the oil that would normally be fed into the intake to get burned up.

Your intentions will keep oil from directly entering the intake manifold.
Pending your catch cans ability to separate the oil and air, your turbos might still suck in a ton of oil and film up your tubing, intercooler, and manifold anyway. Your diagram will remove crankcase vacuum at idle, which some people want to maintain. On a side note, I see you've got one of those fancy new reverse rotation turbos for the ultimate in symmetry! Nice! |
