GTM-TT: Modify the intake charge pipes?

Any of you guys notice the labor involved to pull the charge pipes off the throttle bodies with the GTM TT kit? I wonder if this section could be modified

Default GTM-TT: Modify the intake charge pipes?

Any of you guys notice the labor involved to pull the charge pipes off the throttle bodies with the GTM TT kit? I wonder if this section could be modified so that I don't have to go through the effort of dropping the bumper and removing the headlights just to pull the pipe off the throttles. Of course, one of those risks might be having the pipes pop out of place under heavy boost.

On another note, anyone contact Gamma about getting replacement exhaust manifolds? It's just something to think about without dumping a whole lot of money getting a new kit... just wishful thinking.

Yeah, you should be able to reach the clamp to the coupler in your bumper using an extension, then you have to rotate and do a lot of pulling, but should be able to get the pipe connected to your throttle body off. I didn't remove my headlights on my V3 kit. They should have exhaust manifolds on hand. Worth a phone call.

I had no problems with mine... mine are 3"... just use an extension as stated above.

I still have to drop the bumper to loosen the clamps on the lower coupler, but one clamp is pretty difficult to access under the headlight. I use an extension with an additional attachment for the hard to reach area. It's a pain.

Eventually I'll have time to put the car down again to pull stuff apart to do a leak test. So far I suspect throttles and possibly the upper manifold gasket (again). If that's the case, I need a sure fire way to get it sealed properly, and I'm pretty much fed up having to deal with vacuum leaks (somewhere).

Is this regarding that P006a code? Or a different one?

And yeah. It's pretty amazing. The TT kits take a tight engine bay and make it even more cramped. lol.

P0507 high idle. There's a bit of surging after the car warms up, and sometimes idle starts swinging to 1200 RPM or hang. After restarting the car it goes away. One of my friends is going to help me get the car on the lift and trace the leaks. As much as I enjoy this car I'm pretty tired of working on it.

It took me 6 months to find this and $2500 spent on parts I did not need; under advice from the experts that made the kit.

I was about to take the system off and sell.

The tune is the other hunch as well, which might be thrown off after cleaning the throttles. I'll try to find time to get the leak test done.
