Who Used or Is Using Nitrous on the 370z
Hey guys,
Please respond if you have or had used it on on the 370z. I am looking collect some information across the board on what everyone is using. Tune- Uprev/EUTEK Street or Dyno Tune Type of kit with all components How much nitrous did you use The reason I ask is I may be making some changes but I would like to know what everyone has done. I am currently looking to switch over to ECUTEK but currently having trouble finding anyone with experience tuning nitrous on that platform. I have found one person who is comfortable with it but suggests I moved to direct port. I feel that is a little overkill for a 75 shot. Then there is another option of going direct port with a dry kit and put it at 120 and use ECUTEK to add fuel. I am looking for people using nitrous on the 370z. I say this again b/c telling me what you did on your mustang, camaro etc.. is not what I need. Thank you.

I haven't had nitrous before, but my kit should be arriving today.
When I have the kit installed Seb @ Specialty Z will be dyno tuning it using ecutek. But considering the elevation change between cali and vegas I will probably do some etunes and data logging. I'll be running the NX GTR plate kit. It comes with all the fittings and jets for 50 75 and 100 shot. I'm going straight into the 100 shot no need to waste time with the smaller shots. GTR Spark Plugs Possibly an innovate wideband gauge. I already have all the extra goodies. I just need a blow down tube. I may look into running it with E85 if that's possible just because it burns so much cooler than 91. I'll start a build thread once it's done and let you know how it goes. Not sure if the direct port has been done on our cars but I think I read installers were swayed from that option because of our plastic intake manifold. But I'm sure it could be done. I attached a pic of the kit when it was installed on Carbons Z, he made 434whp and 415wtq with the 100 shot and a restrictive exhaust.

I know there are quite a few people on here doing nitrous. I was talking to a few of them when I was looking into it but sadly I'm abandoning the project. I'll see if I can find their usernames for ya

Tune- None yet. I'm going to use ECUTek this spring.
Street or Dyno Tune - I'm going to check in with SebZ and Z1 Type of kit with all components: Zex Nitrous Management unit 100hp Wet Shot 10lb Bottle Remote Bottle Opener Purge Bottle Warmer with built in sensor Pressure gauge (on bottle) Blowdown Tube Innovate AFR Gauge 34 Row Oil Cooler Trans Cooler F.I. Exhaust and F.I. Test Pipes How much nitrous did you use: Around 10 bottles, 3 of the bottles at 75HP. Issues so far: My transmission is not doing well, 5th gear is slipping a little and I think my flex plate is a ticking time bomb. This will be resolved by a Level 10 transmission in the Spring. I have gone through 20 bottles on my NX kit with 75 and 100 shot. Zero issues and Tunning was a breeze. When I was searching for a tuner most people would shy away because they never or hardly tuned nitrous or even had experience with it. You need a fuel pressure gauge and a progressive controller as well.
