V3 kit arrived
Hey folks, my V3 kit arrived today.
Pretty excited for the build, but it's arrival was bittersweet. Right before shipment of my kit last week which I had been promised (paid in full in June 2013 with an order for test pipes and an oil cooler), I was told that I needed to pay an additional fee of $1500 for them to ship, and without the oil cooler and test pipes I was told I was going to receive this last fall. I was really disappointed that I would not be receiving everything I had paid for/was promised, and didn't have the budget on hand to buy everything again right away. After some discussion with Gamma, I ultimately paid the extra $1500 for the kit, and am now going to be saving for the other parts before starting my build.... I had ordered the kit with ECUtek, but it sounds like Gamma is not yet ready to tune the 370z turbo kit with ECUtek. They shipped me UPREV, and said that if they finish ECUtek development on the V3 kit prior to me beginning my build, that I could swap my UPREV cable for ECUtek and they would tune me on that. So I really appreciate that. Thanks Gamma. Given these setbacks, I'm really excited for the build. The kit looks good. Quality looks great. Everything is packaged and organized nicely. If anyone wants to see something specifically, let me know and I'll snap a picture. Just going to take me a bit longer to get started than originally thought. Build thread will follow. Just wanted to post and let everyone know I got my kit. In the meantime, I'll be over there in the corner dissecting the installation manual and scoping deals on oil coolers and test pipes. Let the fun begin. |

That's good news (for the most part)!
When are you gonna start putting it all together? Keep us updated on the build!

Awesome! I also wanted to go with ecutek - Amin didn't mention anything specifically but I am hopeful he will swap me out too when they are able... Seems like it is far superior to Uprev.
