Unhappy 3rd Tail/brake light

Hi there, so I got my 2014 370Z a bit over 2 months now and I have noticed that the lower center F1 like light on the Z doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to make this light to work with brakes?

It is just a lens cover, there is no light bulb or wiring inside. You can buy a JDM fog light from a vendor on here and wire it up how you see fit. Good luck

Tapping into one of the wires in the brake harness is what I did and it wasn't too hard to do. Bought a Nissan OEM one with bulb and wired it as a brake light.

If it's a US car, the rear fog light is not functional. Some markets (eg, Canada, EU) have working lights. As per speedfreek and Wonka2581 you can get the parts to make it work.

You can remove this "dummy" and fit it with a LED Light panel. I taped a Z off inside the lens and blacked out the remainder. Tied the light into tail lights so the Z illuminates.
Looks really neat and only cost a few bucks to do.
