Default Vinyl Wrap Roof Help/Advice?

I'm planning to Vinyl wrap my roof this weekend. But my question is how do people tuck in the vinyl so perfectly on the sides of the car where the black rubber piece is. Where Can I find Di Noc vinyl?

Thanks for responding to my post, would you recommend di noc? and also do you spray the roof while installing the vinyl?

you have to tuck it under the strip to make it look nice.

not sure if you like dinoc on the roof. i tried it looked like those old lesbre and nintey-eight with the fake leather roof option. i took it off like 5mins after i finished the work. lol

for dinoc you can do a dry install as the material wont stretch and distort as much as typical vinyl. for other vinyls it's recommended you use wet install and dont pull too hard.

GL with your project.

ive done di-noc on friend's cars that wanted that carbon fibre look, but would recommend using uv-coated vinyl for gloss black top.

so di-noc for carbon / brush alum / wood / etc, because its thicker and will hold the pattern and uv-coated vinyl for solid colors.

dry application for di-noc is doable, as kenchan mentioned, but i'd advise to use some soapy water for first timers...and lots of soapy water for vinyls (roof as well as both sides of the vinyl, so you can tell which parts have been squeegeed down).

hope that helps

Bluebatmobile, he is a forum sponsor here. He also has a new 3d carbon vinyl too. Looks pretty dope.
