Hey all, has anyone had to replace their brake light led? Owner manual says take it to a nissan dealer, just wondering if anyones done it? Searching did not bring

Changing brake light bulbs/led
Hey all, has anyone had to replace their brake light led? Owner manual says take it to a nissan dealer, just wondering if anyones done it? Searching did not bring any results regarding this.

As far as I know, it's just a plug-in lamp but I've never actually eyeballed one. FSM should give a generic number for the lamp (eg, 1156 (or 3156) and 1157 (or 3157) are the old single-/dual-element incandescent bulbs). Google that number and see what it is.
