crooked hood?
anyone ever get this: when they go to shut the front hood only one latch catches so it looks like your hood is crooked? i think i'm just pressing down on one side more than they other or pressing down in the middle and only one side catches. inspecting the hood parts everything seems ok. it's easily fixed by pushing down on the side that didn't catch but since i do a quick clean of the engine once a week this happens alot and i never catch it until one of my co-workers sees it the next morning.

I wouldn't push on it. Just drop it from about a foot. They are made for that. You don't want to accidentally put a nice dent in it!

Adjust the striker. Take out the pop rivet, remove the plastic finisher, and unthread the striker a few turns. Replace the finisher and pop rivet and test the fit.
The hood strikers are adjustable.

Raise your elbow, tap it twice, then drop your elbow on it.
Teach it a lesson with some old school WWF moves. Mine no longer ***** around with me after I put it in its place. |

My passanger side would sit higher if I didnt drop the hood from a higher height originally, used some gun lubricants on latch and mechanisms all okay now.

It was happening to me just like you described. One of the hood locks would have trouble locking the hood unless I gave it a extra push after closing. Eventually had to replace the lock assembly because the spring in the lock got weak to the point where the hood wouldn't close at all. I tried to adjust the hood stoppers but it didn't really work. If you still have warranty, I would go to nissan and get it replaced.
