Default Mag black color matched door handles installed

Just showing off my painted door handles. Right side wasn't all that hard to remove but the driver's side kicked my butt. Stripped out two of the screws that hold the little plate for the lock/unlock button but a small pair of vice grips made quick work of them. Lining the lock up on the driver's side was the biggest beotch. If someone isn't mechanically inclined this is not a project they should tackle.

Big kudos to equalme for hooking me up with a set of color-matched handles and I recommend anyone that wants to get theirs painted to hit him up

looks awesome

I love the way the colored matched door handles. I think it's the best exterior upgrade I've done so far.

Does anyone have a good way to remove the little screws holding in the button? I know they have loctite on them because I have removed them before... I heated them up with a lighter then I was able to unscrew them but cant you just unplug the wire for the button or is it impossible to reach?

There is a blue plug tucked inside the door that goes to the button but I couldn't get my hands in there to disconnect it. I was able to turn the screws a little bit before they stripped out and used a small pair of vice grips to grab onto the screw head and get them out that way.
