Default Painted nissan emblems...

Small mod. Really cleans up the front of the Z

Used Automotive Touchup for paint. Used their adhesion promoter, factory color match Mag. Black, and gloss clear coat. Little light sanding, quick coat of adhesion promoter, couple of coats of color, couple of coats of clear...

Think it turned out well. The chrome "bling" was not doing it for me at all.

I like it. Much better than dipping them. I am just nervous about removing them

removing was really not that bad... left car out in the driveway most of the day... nice warm day softened up the glue quite a bit. used some blue painters tape to mask off bumpers, used a old plastic id card to get under emblem, finished off with some floss to cut through glue. Once started, they came off fairly easy. Think it sitting in the sun made a huge difference.

This is where personal taste are just that personal. I like the blacked out emblems on just about any colour other than black. On a black car it starts to feel to me like the car has been re-sprayed and the painter was to lazy to remove the emblems. If I was going for the total blacked out look I would just remove the emblems completely.
