Default Can you replace stock cloth seats with stock leather seats/

I did a search on this site but didn't come up with an answer.

I already have a base model `12 Z with sport package. I want to upgrade my stock seats to the touring leather seats with airbag and electronic controls. I found the seats just don't know if I should buy them yet.

So if I do buy them, will I be able to swap them out easy enough? Will it require a professional to do the job as I am not a mechanic?

The seats come with the door panels so I don't have to worry about that.

I called my Nissan dealer, and the said it would be anywhere from 3 grand to 12 grand! They wouldn't tell me if the seats would be a direct swap.

Thanks for your help.

I think all the wiring should already in the car. Other than the fact that they are leather and are powered, the seats are the same. Make sure you get the buttons too.

I sold my 40th interior and helped the guy install it. All electrical connections were there except the heated seat option. I'm not 100% sure if your able to swap to the heated seats if you don't already have the option.

I am at work right now can send you pictures later. Car had about 12k miles on it when the seats came out, they are in good condition. PM me an offer if your serious, would like to get them out of my garage. Shipping may be kind of pricey though

You have a '12 Z, so you should have the seat heater switch. I did the swap on my '12 Nismo and I had all of the necessary wiring. You just need the two seat heater switches. About $20 each.
