Regarding the screws, they are indeed very tight. I've done many sets of 370Z headlights and have never failed to get them loose by using an electric impact driver. I've done it once or twice with a simple screwdriver by hand, but you have to hold the headlight very tight and use a perfect sized Philips head.
And for the sti-r clear lens, you have to use 2 paper spacers. Simply swapping in a lens will have a pretty blurry cutoff line. The metal spacer they provide doesn't work for the 370z, it's way too thick. I've tried many combinations before and 2 paper spacers seems to be the sweet spot. Best combination of sharpness and color. Keep in mind I don't mean actual paper like regular paper to write on, but the thicker paper ones TRS sells specifically for this purpose. If you search around the forum you'll find some pictures of the before and after pictures of the sti-r lens mod with spacers. Last edited by paperboy42190; 03-05-2014 at 03:48 AM. |
