Installed GTR Shift knob/boot

Today installed the GTR shift knob and boot in my auto. Don't mind the knob,I'm redoing the paint.

Default Installed GTR Shift knob/boot

Today installed the GTR shift knob and boot in my auto.
Don't mind the knob,I'm redoing the paint.

meh ive seen much nicer looking knobs than this, but to each his own. as long as you like it.

Like the knob. I got the same boot but can't get the bezel to stay down and in place with the boot in. 1st thing i've ever had a hard time with.

Myself and a few other members have had good luck applying velcro or double sided tape to ensure the boot stays in place.

that looks clean. so the AT's get yet another dummy sw cover where the S-mode button goes on the MT? geez nissan wtf is with all these dummy switches...

Mine gave me not problem, was very careful with the 4 little velvet pieces is those don't sit properly the plastic surround never stay in place.

I believe it was off these forums where someone installed a "boom switch" in that hole by the stick for sub control. Pretty cool

if you can make it into a latch push switch, i'd use that for fogs or something.
