Default VIS Racing Hood Fitment- Good/Bad Experiences?

Hey guys. I have to get a new hood and front bumper for the Z ( don't ask ), so I figured I'd get a custom hood while I'm at it. I'm leaning toward the VIS Racing AMS hood (2009-2012 Nissan 370Z 2Dr Ams Carbon Fiber Hood), but I wanted to check with y'all to see if any of you had good or bad experiences with the fitment, which as you know is crucial for aftermarket body parts.

Let me know. Thanks!

VIS Carbon Hood Fitment and Quality Issues?

Seibon TS CF or VIS AMS Hood?

Sounds like mixed reviews from what I've gathered

The fitment will probably come down to the body shop you use to prep and install it, unless you are doing it yourself.
All aftermarket hoods (even JDM ones) are not 100% and take some wiggle to work, that one has been on many cars here and most like it.

I have the same hood sitting in storage, before purchasing it I talked to EZT who if I remember right said the fit was pretty good. Here is a picture of his after being painted, he did run the hood for awhile with the carbon showing.
EZT likes this.

my aerojacket hood fits amazing. But it took plenty of work to get all of the oem hardware to fit cncluding tapping and dying threads.
