What is this on the front lip?

Washing the Z today and notice some plastic wrap peeling from the front lip and not sure what it is. Can someone chime in and possibly how can I fix it. Thanks.

looks like protective liner? can you peel it off?

if it's not a protective liner, gently place it back on?

Canker sore? That will mess your lip up. Could be a canker sore.
