Default vibration/rattle noise from top left windshield

So I never noticed this before in my normal driving, but the other week, I drove from the Los Angeles area up to the bay area and back. I noticed at times that there was a rattle/vibration coming form the top left windshield corner area. The roads weren't particularly rough or anything and I wasn't at WOT. It was at high-ish speeds 80+ and at partial to maybe slightly heavy throttle. Anyone else notice a rattle in that area at higher speeds and medium engine load?

I too am experiencing a similar "rattle" in that area. I have no clue what it is

... I just drove to SEMA and back a couple weeks ago and was experiencing the same EXACT thing.. but I think mine was rattling from both the driver and passenger side.

Driver and passenger side. Top of the windshield. Rattling noise. Cruise control around 75 MPH.

I just thought it was my Z falling apart because I drive it probably less than half a dozen times a year.

Do you think it has something to do with the windshield and how it's sealed? I thought it was because of chassis flex and the windshield being messed up because of that.

To me it sounds like an interior plastic rattle. I only hear hit while the car is under a certain load in the RPM range. Maybe someyhing is loose? A clip perhaps.

Did you find a solution for this? I've been having this issue in my driver window for the last month and cant figure it out. I"ve torn the entire door apart to no avail.

Found it!!!
My interior rattle that is. I spent some time digging around the dash area today and as I was tapping on various parts I found what was making the noise. Turned out to be a particular section of the dash frame where the steering column attaches to nearby. I simply bent the two braces SLIGHTLY away from ach other and now the rattle is gone

NOTE: I did not bend the steering column. Simply a brace in the adjacent area.

I know this may be hard to visualize the orientation in person but, here are the pics. In the second pic you can see tooling marks where I slightly bent the bracket away from the weld spot. THAT weld should have come all the way forward to prevent the two pieces of metal from EVER moving. I hope this helps you guys out. I was able to recreate the rattle sound I heard by tapping on this piece of metal so, I knew it was my issue.
