Help: Removing center console
Can anybody post specifically how to remove the center console?
I need to adjust the tightness of my handbrake because as it stands now I can pretty much drive with it fully up unhindered. Thanks |

The "safe" way to pull up the center console (the one with compartment box):
- Pop off the gear lever trim (7AT, remove silver trim piece first; 6MT, unhook and pull up) - There are a couple of screws holding down the center console. - Lower driver and passenger seats. Towards the back of the console (behind the seats) are a couple of screws (one on each side). Remove those. - Now you can simply lift it up.
