OP, I could recommend against anything other than getting it professionally repaired or the product that Vivid provided My 350z came with a rear wiper and when I tried to

My 350z came with a rear wiper and when I tried to plug it usig one of the sink stopper solutions I found that it ended up letting water in

I would just leave it, it comes in handy for me in the winter time
