Removing car emblems

I removed my 370z emblem in the rear and it has a shadowing effect of the 370z still there when you put it under shade. Like a stain.. Anyone have

I removed my 370z emblem in the rear and it has a shadowing effect of the 370z still there when you put it under shade. Like a stain..

Anyone have any issues with that? My car is also white.. i dont think that helps.

You're probably just seeing the fading of the paint color. It's always going to be a little darker where the sun doesn't shine directly.

Just polish that area over. I did it to mine and it went away.

A few repeats of waxing and buffing the general area will help to blend it in, but if you want a factory looking finish again, take it by a body shop and they'll wet sand and re-clear the area

It may also be residue from the adhesive. Clay bar, then polish and it should go away.
