Even assuming it did work, a laser jammer would be much more effective, easier application, and cheaper. Most places it's not laser that gets you anyway. Its radar.

Already got one of those. I run the ZR4, it is however not an easier application or cheaper, but I do agree that it is more effective. Around Edmonton here its about a 50/50 shot between laser and radar. They how have Laser photo vehicles all over the city. A radar detector is not sufficient up here.

Any of those "ticket saving" coatings are all gimmicks. They don't work in real life scenarios. Jammers are your best bet, but you need to be johnny on the spot killing them once you see you're being painted, if the trooper can get a good signal on you, he'll assume your jamming him and thats enough to get pulled over and get a ticket for obstruction.

Im assuming you have tried the stuff then? I know it has been around for many years now. Although I assume with my lights painted there is very little to aim at with the laser as it stands now (we dont have front plates).
As long as the obstruction ticket has no demerits and doesn't show up on my insurance its a win. haha. Though I doubt that would ever happen.

In AZ people used them all the time because they thought the coating would enhance the already intense solar glare. What they didn't realize is most of the laser cameras also had IR sensors that see right through the stuff.
I don't know, you'd have to look up your local laws to see what will/will not get you points vs just a fine.
