Default headlight on/off delay while driving

With the headlight control in the AUTO position, is there a way to adjust the amount of time that the headlights will stay on after switching themselves on due to the light sensor? For instance, if I drive under an overpass, the lights switch on, and when will switch back off when I get out.

I like the AUTO headlight feature, but I do like to reserve the flipping off and on of the lights while driving to moments when I want someone's attention, like when letting a semi know he's got room to merge and so on.

Update: I neglected to mention I have a 2013 Z without Nav.

Pull the stalk towards the steering wheel and let go. That flicks your High Beams on and off whether or not the low beams are on due to the Auto Feature.

Thanks. Yeah, I knew about that part, just was hoping I missed something about having them turn on and then off too much without my input.

When it is a nice sunny day I leave it on auto, they have never come on while driving under an overpass. If its raining or very overcast, I turn them ON so people can see me better.

I never liked the auto setting on the head lights.
I keep mine in manual.
IMO the auto setting on my 2003 Saturn ION is way better.
The 370Z's is way too sensitive, stays on way too long if triggered by a shadow and doesn't turn the lights on when the windshield wipers are on.
In my Saturn Ion if I have the windshield wipers on for more than 30 second the headlights come on (if in auto) and turn off about a minute after the wipers have been turned off.
It is always good idea to turn on your lights when it is raining and in some states (like VA where I live) you are required to turn on your lights if you are using your wipers (other than to clean your windshield).
I could live with the high sensitivity but once I figured out that the auto function wasn't linked to the wipers I stopped using the auto mode and never looked back.
Just my

What drives me nuts is the switch position of auto. It would be nice if auto is the last switch position like some other cars. I usually flip on the parking lights and hate having to momentarily walk over the auto selection briefly turning on the HIDs in the process. [END RANT]

If you have Nav, you can make some adjustments to the lights but I don't remember if auto-turn-on-threshold is included. If you don't have Nav, the dealer can make adjustments using CONSULT.

You can adjust the sensitivity but not the delay.
