broken mirror help？

so, i was in a hurry today and parked my Z in a parking lot that had alot of cars and forgot to push thw side mirrors in. I came back 2 hours later and found my passenger side mirror is broken. the guy/lady left the insurance number and everything on my windshield. I assume he hit my mirror with hes or something. anyways what do i tell the car shop..? do i need a new mirror or just the cover. ilve uploaded the pictures. the bottom black part is completely cracked and the cover is totally outta place. adjusting the mirror and everything still works. what do i tell the shop？
