Question Rear bumper ideas

I have a black z so I didn't dont like the idea of tinting the tail lights. And I didn't think putting on a diffuser would really make a difference because u can't see it.

Is there anything I could do to make my rear stand out?

De-badge it or put Fairlady on it? Only two things I could think of with a black bumper

Fast intentions exhaust! Rear spats, tinting the reverse cutout, cf license plate frame, custom plates, JDM fog, led swap for license plate lights...that's all I can think of.

It's been driving me nuts as well (mag black here) from the first day I got it.

The conclusion I have come to is there are only two options, and one of them is quoted above.

1. Rear spats. (this is the cheaper version)
2. Amuse bumper. (more expensive, however you wont regret it)

After a little bit of thinking around I'm now saving up for an amuse kit

EDIT: oh and btw tinted tails look sexy on black. I did mine last weekend, came out glorious. (im also in NYC, never been given sh!t about it on the Z. cops dont see enough Z's to tell that its not factory tinted )

I will say open the tail lights (need dremel) and paint those from inside, another thing you can do is install diffuser with some GM paint shade

I paid to get mine done. There was a 40% off promo going on and I got a lifetime warranty, mine were only the reverse cutouts though.

+1 Amuse rear
Love the styling and it gives room for a nice diffuser if you really want.

Also the abflug rear bumper is very different from anything else out there if you want to stand out.

You could also add a huge wing....like this esprit wing. That'll get you a LOT of looks.

Its not hard to tint the tails, ive done it on 5 cars.

Super simple, there are millions of DIY out there and they all work...

To summarize:

Take them off, sand with wet sandpaper (1500-2000 grit), clean, spray VHT nightshades, spray clearcoat, buff.

Fin.

I'll post up some pics for you to see. It looks boss as fcuk
