Ideas on a Spacer or BraCup on Sickspeed Shift Knob?

I replaced OEM Shifter on my 6M with a Red Rally Shift Knob. There is a 1 inch Gap between Knob and BraCup. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks in

you need to put a collar under the boot to raise it.

and finish off with either that zeetoys thingie or a ballcock shank washer trick.
like this... to clean off the top of the boot stitching.

The Ballcock Shank Washer trick! Where do I get one? I drilled out a hole in a Rubber Cane or table bottom rubber 7/8 ths thick. Holds up boot well. The washer would def help the look !
