Anyone Plasti Dipped their cup holder?

The inside of my cup holder is lightly scratched (enough to drive me nuts), most likely from dealership putting keys in it. I am contemplating the idea of Plasti Dipping

The inside of my cup holder is lightly scratched (enough to drive me nuts), most likely from dealership putting keys in it. I am contemplating the idea of Plasti Dipping it. Anyone done this? How strong is it? Should I also do the silver ring? I only use it for cups and mostly iPhone. Thanks.
