Rear Hatch "floor" replacement ?

That plastiky support board finally gave out. Any other options out there that can better support some weight? Was thinking of using some light plywood but I'd rather just buy

Also looking for a nice rear mat (I have Weathertechs up front).

Weathertech makes one for the rear, as well:

I have the Weathertech rear mat. It's as good as the ones in the front.

As far as the panel piece in the back, I think the best would be to go to a fabrication shop that does CNC cutting and have the make a "copy" of your panel. Then have them cut it out of 1/8" or 3/16" aluminum sheet metal. That would be strong. It wouldn't be especially lightweight, but it sounds like you're throwing a bunch of stuff back there anyway, so you might not be worried about a couple extra pounds.

If you wanted to DIY, you could trace and cut your own. It might not be as clean, though, depending on the equipment you have access to.
