DRL tint?

Silly question but anyone tinted their drl's? On my subie&FJ I love the look that yellow fogs add to the car, just did my DRL mod for them to stay

Default DRL tint?

Silly question but anyone tinted their drl's? On my subie&FJ I love the look that yellow fogs add to the car, just did my DRL mod for them to stay on with headlights and figured they essentially are acting as fogs now and might look neat tinted a "jdm yellow"? Did some searching and couldn't find any pics so hoping someone has done this or if anyone is talented with PS could maybe give it a shot?

Sweet thank you! Do you recall which tint you used?

Unrelated-How did you find exactly where that was? I saw the hit on search but couldn't sift through 700 pages lol not sure if I am doing it wrong or you're just a genius

Nice! That's giving me ideas. Yellow would probably look cool at night and serve a second purpose.

Not my car.

Not a genius, but I like to think I am pretty smart.

I mostly use google and place “the370z.com” into any search. That brings up this website items first. When searching for something visual like this, I look at images in google, which makes it faster to catch items you are looking for. Once I see the image, I can go to the page and see if it is any use. Took me about a minute to find what you needed.

Not rocket science, but it seems most people have no clue in how it’s done.

I had been thinking (and made a thread too) about DRL's on all the time.

I had thought about the fog light angle too - there are some pics here too:

I have mine enabled already was just on the fence about tinting them but after seeing some pics I think I definitely will & I love the yellow on all my other vehicles. I also went with this kit and the install was incredibly easy and painless, also bonus that it's a Canadian product for us fellow Canadians lol

The guy deals in USD think it was about 50$...install took all of 30 min's and I'm an idiot with this sort of thing so anyone with minimal experience could probably do it in 10-15 min. Had it in for about 3 weeks now and no issues either.

drl is probably the easiest thing to tint yourself, buy some air release smoke tint from vivid, it's a flat surface so it's pretty easy. unlike our headlights which i failed to do.

I did this exactly. I went with smoke as well over yellow to black out everything and to reduce the light at night as I did the DRL always on mod.
